New Chapter (2025)

 

To my Lovey,

As the new year begins, I find myself thinking a lot about the future we are building together. I feel a sense of hope and determination as I look ahead to 2025. Just two weeks ago, we went to church and prayed for this year to be one where we find success, prosperity, and peace. Together, we’ve asked for blessings, not only to change our own lives but to help our families and create the kind of future where we can thrive together, hand in hand. Our prayer was simple but profound: that this year would be the one that sets the foundation for everything we want in life.

It’s not always easy, though. We’ve had our moments—times where we’ve fought, disagreed, or struggled with the weight of our dreams. But no matter how tough things get, I always know that we are stronger together. Your maturity and ability to handle me, especially during our toughest moments, show me just how much you care. I’m in awe of your patience and the way you approach everything with such calm and understanding, especially when I let my emotions take over.

You are not just my boyfriend; you are like a brother and father to me. You have this incredible ability to balance everything—to be there for your family, for your friends, and for me. You never give up, even when life gets hard. You keep going, and you always find a way to move forward. Your resilience and dedication inspire me in ways words can’t fully describe. I can see how hard you work to give the people you love the best, and it makes me want to be better, to match your effort and heart.

I know that I haven’t always been perfect, and sometimes, I allow myself to become irritated or let my thoughts spiral in ways that aren’t fair to you. For those times, I am truly sorry. I never want my immaturity to affect what we have. But I’m committed to growing and becoming the best version of myself—not just for me, but for you. I want to be the kind of girlfriend you can be proud of, the one who supports you with all her heart, who stands by you through every challenge, and who loves you in the way you truly deserve.

I want you to know that I see everything you do for me and your family, and I am so grateful. I never take for granted how lucky I am to have you in my life. You are my partner, my best friend, and the person I want to walk beside for the rest of my days. I’m also really looking forward to the plans and goals we’ve set for this year.
